Cooperation Between NEVA and Karatay Municipality

A mutual cooperation protocol was signed between Necmettin Erbakan University Development Foundation (NEVA) and Karatay Municipality.

In his speech before the signing of the protocol, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that as the municipality, they have made great efforts to strengthen the scientific aspect of the services with all the projects they have implemented so far, and said that they attach great importance to the support of universities in this context.

Underlining that there are cooperation protocols with all universities in Konya, President Kılca said, "Our strongest and biggest supporter in this regard is our University, Necmettin Erbakan. Thanks to our cooperation with our university, we have implemented many projects. On this occasion, Necmettin Erbakan University Rector Prof. Dr. I would like to thank Mr. Cem Zorlu. We are also signing a cooperation protocol with the Necmettin Erbakan University Development Foundation (NEVA), which is also operating within the university. As Karatay Municipality, we care about this cooperation and we are very happy to be a part of such a valuable project. We have decided to stand by and support our fellow students who come to our country to study in Konya, as well as from abroad, and we will continue to stand by our university, our foundation and our fellow students from now on.”

NEVA President Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu emphasized that Karatay Municipality is one of the institutions that give the most support to our University and thanked Karatay District Mayor Hasan Kılca for his support.

Summarizing that the Necmettin Erbakan University Development Foundation is a new formation and that the main purpose of the foundation is to support academicians and students in every field, Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu said: “For this to happen, support from all segments of society is needed. Konya municipalities are an example and model in this regard. In particular, our Karatay Municipality is one of the municipalities that gives us the most support in this regard. In return for the support given to us by our municipality, we share our scientific knowledge and values ​​with our municipality. Thus, great energy and synergy emerge, and good works are accomplished together. I would like to thank our Karatay Municipality for always supporting us in this matter.”

After the speeches, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca and Necmettin Erbakan University Development Foundation President Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu signed the prepared cooperation protocol.
